Worked example
A box-shaped space measuring 2 m × 1.5 m × 0.8 m has a volume of 2.4 m³, equal to about 84.76 ft³, 3.14 yd³ or 2,400 liters.

How to interpret the conversions
Every displayed unit represents the same physical volume. Choose the unit required by the supplier or drawing; do not add results expressed in different units.
Internal dimensions estimate capacity, while external dimensions estimate occupied space.
Avoid these conversion errors
